A first aider determines the life and death, a temporary or permanent injury and the need to be hospitalized for long term or short term. Accidents happen at any time and emergency situation is chaotic. Any emergency that arises from an accident often escalates into a crisis affecting employees and the communities as well as the smooth operation of the company. Employees trained in first aid will understand the steps to take during an emergency, thanks to increased confidence and preparation. A quick response can reduce recovery time, leading to less time lost from injuries.
Keeping this in mind, the management has selected some employees to attend a Basic First Aider training to prepare them should an incident occur. During the training, employees were given sufficient practical material and every participant was given a hands on experience to acquire the skills needed to perform the initial lifesaving tasks. In the event of an emergency, a fast employee’s response can certainly save lives.
