Health and safety are the priority at any workplace. Most of the injuries and death from fire incidents occur because of people not knowing the proper fire safety measures and exit strategies. Basic occupational fire fighting training are essential for employees and this practice ensure that they can handle themselves in a worst-case scenario. This was the objective of the training that was arranged for our employees from various departments over the weekend.
Skilled trainers from Academy of Safety and Emergency Care provided information and demonstrated on how to deal with a fire in different situations. From this training, we believe our employees are enlightened with the correct usage of fire extinguisher and are able to act fast during a fire incident. This will lead to the best chance of a safe and methodical evacuation process in the event of a fire.
