As we are aware, the blood banks usually run out of blood mostly during festive seasons. While the blood donated by an estimated 2% of eligible blood donors in Malaysia is adequate to meet the overall demands for blood transfusions, there can be shortages of blood supply during specific times of the year. And that is when we would want to help. Hence, our blood donation drive was held just before the puasa month. We collected a total of 61 pints and this will help to save the lives of 183 people. Those who were rejected due to certain reasons, we appreciate their efforts as well!
